UEFA Europa League: Nigerian striker hit brace for Midtjlland

Big Nigerian striker Paul Onauchu returned to his ferocious best with a double for Dennish club Midtjlland, helping his team to secure a 2-0 win away at FC TNS in one of several Europa League fixture played on Thursday night.

Two first half strikes in the 9th and 27th minute from Onauchu put Midtjlland at ease as they took control and command of the tie away from home.

Onauchu missed Midtjlland’s 2-1 win over AaB in the league over the weekend, but returned with his scoring boots on Thursday night.

The 24 years big striker, who stands at 6ft was subbed off in the 79th minute, with Mayron George taking his place.

Meanwhile, his Nigerian teammate Frank Onyeka who played at the weekend was an unused substitute in their European engagement.
