Victor Moses, Chelsea players get luxury watches from billionaire

Chelsea stars including Victor Moses have been given Hublot watches as a reward for their title win last season.

Russian billionaire club owner Roman Abramovich rewarded them with Hublot wrist watches worth an estimated £9,000 each.

Hublot has been one of the club’s sponsor since 2016. The watches are said to have a Chelsea lion on the face and is inspired by the club’s colours.


First-team stars Willian and Nathaniel Chalobah revealed the gifts on Instagram, which came with a note from chairman Bruce Buck.

Each Hublot watch came with a note from Bruce Buck saying thanks  for ‘creating history’.

Willian’s card from Buck said: ‘On behalf of Mr Abramovich and also on behalf of the board of directors of the club, congratulations on creating history during the 2016/17 season.

‘It’s been a campaign to remember. Keep the blue flag flying high.’

Willian revealed the thank you gift the Chelsea players got for their title success on Instagram

Chalobah’s thank you note contained the same message.

The team has already begun their preseason training in readiness for International Champions Cup coming up in Beijing China.

They will open their title defence of 2017/2018 season at home to Burnley.
