Vincent Enyeama undergoes knee surgery


Lille of France first choice goalkeeper and former Super Eagles Captain, Vincent Enyeama has undergone a successful knee surgery.

Enyeama suffered a knee injury last month and after a successful correctional surgery, the ex-Enyimba goal tender took to twitter to appreciate fans for their support.

“God bless you all for your numerous goodwill messages and wishes. It was done and it was successfully done. Thanks to God,” Enyeama wrote on his twitter handle @vinpee.

Enyeama who has been subject of a possible return to the Super Eagles who face a goalkeeper mini crisis with current first choice goalkeeper Carl Ikeme injured, has kept eight clean sheets in 32 Ligue 1 appearances this term for Lille, conceding 40 goals and making 79 saves.
