Ahead of the revived regional WAFU cup final, Black Stars and Enyimba international goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has backed his compatriots to edge Nigeria’s home based Eagles in final.
Dauda who joined former African champions Enyimba at the beginning of the just concluded season, threw his weight behind the black stars B team while speaking to a Ghana based Radio station on Saturday morning. According to him, “It will be a tough game but i believe the Black Stars B players can do it,” says the Enyimba FC goalie.
“Nigeria equally have good players, some
i know because of my engagement in the
Nigerian league but i am optimistic of
our chances against them,” he stated.
The Black stars of Ghana B team will be looking to avenge the 0-2 loss they suffered in the hands of the Nigerian team in the last group game.
Nigeria on the hand will be fighting to beat their hosts again, keep a clean sheet and win the trophy.
The clash will come up tomorrow with football bigwigs in the region expected to be in attendance.
