Weekend preview: Chelsea and City meet at the Bridge; Milan host Roma

It’s another European football weekend around the corner, and with it being the last one before the next International Break, it’s a case of making it worthwhile.

And what better way to make a football weekend memorable than a clash between Chelsea and Manchester City at Stamford Bridge, as both sides meet in West London on Saturday in a third v first Premier League match.

That seems to be the most anticipated game of the weekend, but AC Milan and Roma would want to disagree on that, considering both sides face off at the San Siro on Sunday in the Serie A, as the hosts seek to get their league campaign back on track.

In La Liga, table-topping Barcelona play host to Las Palmas, while Real Madrid welcome Espanyol to the Bernabeu, and the clash between Valencia and Athletic Bilbao at the Mestalla might be worth keeping an eye on.

Elsewhere, PSG are at home to Bordeaux in Ligue 1, where champions Monaco host Montpellier on Friday night; Manchester United have a home game against goalless bottom club Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Serie A champions Juventus travel to Atalanta, while in the Bundesliga Bayern Munich begin their Post-Ancelotti era with a trip to the capital to face Hertha Berlin.
