After a successful start to life in the Chinese Super League for Changchun Yatai, Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo may be on his way back to the Premier League.

The former Watford striker is presently on the radar of struggling side West Ham United and they are already preparing a bid to lure him back to London.

On Wednesday, the striker in an interview on Channels Television was quoted as saying: “English Premier League is the best in the world. I have tasted it and that is why I made the name everybody knows me today. So if the opportunity arises again, I will gladly take it and go back to the Premier League.”

The striker joined Yatai for a fee of £20m and is tied to the Chinese club until 2020.

Ighalo has netted 15 goals in his last 27 outings, he also contributed a total of seven assists. He has also stepped up to the mark on the international stage with Nigeria.
