The management of NPFL side Wikki Tourists has announced the termination of coach Muhammad Babaganaru’s contract, Naijafootballplus.com understands.
The management terminated the former Kano Pillars gaffer’s contract after a poor performance in the NPFL and on the continent. Wikki were bundled out of the continent in the first round while the Bauchi based club are in the relegation zone at the moment.
Wikki Tourists media officer, Nasiru Kobi confirmed the decision of the club management to Naijafootballplus.com on Saturday.
“The management after review of the poor performance has decided to terminate the contract of coach Babaganaru. He has received the notification of the contract termination,” revealed Kobi.
In the meantime, the chief Coach of the club Mbas Mangut will handle the team pending the appointment of a new manager.
Wikki Tourists are placed in 17th position with 21 points from 18 matches.
