With six games left in the ongoing 2017/2018 English Premier League season, Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho have been nominated in various categories for club awards at Leicester City.

Midfielder Ndidi who has had a wonderful season was nominated in the club young player of the year and player of the season categories, while Iheanacho was nominated in the young player of the year, player of the year and goal of the year categories.

Former Genk midfielder, Ndidi has been outstanding since joining the Foxes in the winter transfer of 2017 and the ongoing season has seen him ranked alongside the best in his position.

Wilfred Ndidi won the club young player of the year last season and is a strong contender to win it again despite the stiff competition from his compatriot and England junior international Demarai Gray.

Iheanacho had a staggering start to the season but his performance of late has drawn applause, coupled with breathtaking goals especially in the FA cup.

A fantastic volley from Iheanacho in the third round of the FA cup against Peterborough  was among the ten nominated goals for the goal of the year.

The winner will be announced during the club award night on 1 May 2018 after a round of voting from fans.
