Super Eagles debutant Isaac success has stated in clear terms that getting Nigeria to the next year world cup is their main target.
Success who has been hampered by injury from making his debut for the Super Eagles finally made his first appearance for the senior side against Senegal in a game that ended 1-1.
The Watford FC player who came in the half hour mark for Moses Simon stressed that: “It was a dream come true for me. I thank God for being here representing my country.
“The energy is there, the mindset of bringing success to Nigeria and to Africa at the World Cup is there.”
Success’ hopes of getting his second cap was dashed due to Burkina Faso’s inability to secure visas for 7 of their players.
Nigeria are currently top of their group in 2018 World Cup qualifying having won both their opening games so far and are ahead of Cameroon, Zambia and Algeria.
