Zambia to camp in Ghana, Spain for Eagles – FA President


With less than a month to the 2018 world cup qualification match between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Chipolopolo of Zambia, the Football Association of Zambia has concluded plans to begin preparation with their home based team.

The team will commence preparation by travelling to Spain and will spend two weeks there before their foreign counterparts will link up with them and move straight to Ghana for acclimatization.

FAZ president Andrew Kamanga via quotes attributed to him on the  federation’s website said: “So we will send them to Europe for two weeks. The players who have been playing COSAFA and CHAN will go first and then their colleagues will join them, then we will move into Ghana for a week then go into Nigeria and fight to win because we believe we have a chance to go to the World Cup,”

The Super Eagles lead Group B with 10 points. They need an outright win to confirm their qualification for their third consecutive World Cup appearance.
