Zambia head coach Wedson Nyirenda has invited 20 home based players ahead of next month’s crucial 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier match against Nigeria.
The Zambians lost 1-2 to the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Ndola in the first game of the group, but got their World Cup qualification hopes back on track thanks to back to back victories over Algeria.
Nyirenda announced the lists of 20 home based players which includes 17 year old FC Nkwanzi striker Lameck Banda.
The home based players will commence training in Zambia before departing for Spain where the foreign based players will join the team.
