CAF reveals Flying Eagles AFCON U20 qualification fixtures

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the official fixtures for the 2019 Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Nigeria national U20 team, Flying Eagles, have been drawn bye in the first round of the qualifiers which will begin in April.

The Flying Eagles were drawn bye alongside Cup holders Zambia, Egypt, Ghana and eight other countries.

The 12 teams exempted from the first round of the qualifiers are teams who qualified to the final tournaments of the last two editions in addition to the four teams who reached the last round of the qualifiers of the last edition.

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles who are coached by Paul Aigbogun will play the winner between Guinea Bissau and Sierra Leone in the second round of the qualifiers in May.

The final round of the qualifiers will be in July and Nigeria might likely play Morocco if they survive Mauritania and Guinea in the first and second round of the qualifiers respectively.
