
Ahead of the Fifa U-20 World Cup in Poland, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have been drawn in group D alongside USA, Ukraine and Qatar.
The Nigeria U-20 team finished fourth at the just concluded AFCON U-20 tournament in Niger, to secure one of the four available tickets allocated to Africa.
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria is alien to Ukraine U-20 at the FIFA U-20 team World Cup as they defeated Eastern European nation in Holland 2005 with left back Taiye Taiwo scoring the winning goal.
Apart from Nigeria, other African representatives recognized their opponents with South Africa looking to be in the most difficult group.
The Amajita were placed in group F alongside two former champions Portugal and Argentina with Korea Republic completing the group.
African champions Mali are in group E alongside Panama, France and Saudi Arabia.
Runners up Senegal got placed in group E with host Poland, Colombia and Tahiti.
The competition is slated to kick off on May 23rd.
