Ighalo returns to Chinese league

After observing a compulsory rest and holiday after Nigeria’s Super Eagles crashed out of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, striker Odion Ighalo has returned to China.

The Changchun Yatai striker made Super Eagles squad to Russia and played in all the games though failed to find the back of the net.

The Chinese league has been on break since May due to the World Cup and action will resume on July 17th with all teams back in actions.

Ighalo returned to China on Thursday and revealed his arrival in the country with his picture and inscription via his social media.

“Back to work”

Before the World Cup break, Ighalo has netted seven goals for Yatai and will be hoping to add to his tally on Tuesday when they face Chongqing Dang.

Yatai is placed 13th on the table with 11 points from 11 matches.
