Rohr leaves door open for Victor Moses Super Eagles return

Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr, has left the door open for a possible return of his choice attacker, Victor Moses.

Speaking to the Super Eagles media officer, the Franco-German who has never hidden his love for the embattled Chelsea winger, praised the 27 year old while not ruling out a return to the team if he goes back on his shock retirement decision.

“Victor Moses is a very good player for Nigeria. I believe it was too early for such a good player to stop international football when he did but we have to respect his decisions.

“If he changes his mind we will welcome him but he has to find that motivation within himself to come back and be ready to give his 100% at all time as we know he can.

“Then of course, it is important that he gets back to playing regularly at his club and get his sharpness back.” Rohr said

Victor Moses posted a shock retirement statement on his instagram page in August citing the need to focus more on his club career but has struggled to break into Maurizio Sarri’s team.
