The hopes of Nigerian football lovers to catch a glimpse of Egypt and Liverpool’s striker Mo Salah on Nigerian soil has finally been dashed as the team coach, Javier Aguirre has left him out.
The Nigeria Super Eagles and Pharaohs of Egypt are to clash in an international friendly in Nigeria on March 26th after the completion of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers on the 23rd of March.
The two team have secured their passage into the competition with a game to spare.
The team’s gaffer named a 25-man list with Salah’s name conspicuously missing.
Egypt already secured qualification to the African competition after securing 12 points from five matches.
